ScionHealth Announces Executive Leadership Transition

Louisville, KY (June 10, 2026) – ScionHealth today announced its go-forward executive leadership team, reinforcing leadership continuity as the organization continues to evolve. This leadership structure supports a steady, coordinated approach as ScionHealth advances its strategic direction.

Doug Shirley, who has served as ScionHealth’s Chief Financial Officer since April 2025, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Shirley brings more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience, including financial strategy, operational improvement, and enterprise transformation across public, private, and nonprofit systems.

“I am honored to lead ScionHealth into its next chapter,” said Shirley. “While our strategy is evolving, our commitment to supporting the hospitals and caregivers across our network is steadfast. We will continue to empower our caregivers to deliver high-quality, compassionate care for those we serve.”

Rob Jay, who has served as Chief Executive Officer since ScionHealth’s formation in 2021, will transition to the role of Executive Chairman. Jay led the company through its launch and early development, establishing the foundation for its national healthcare network. As Executive Chairman, Jay will serve in a strategic and advisory capacity to the company to ensure a seamless transition while also leading the ScionHealth Board of Directors.

ScionHealth has also appointed Scott Graeser as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, overseeing the company’s financial strategy, capital structure, and risk management. Since 2022, Graeser has served as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer for ScionHealth and brings more than two decades of experience in corporate finance, treasury, and financial planning and analysis.

In addition to these leadership transitions, ScionHealth confirmed the following executives as part of its go-forward leadership team:

  • Danny Brywczynski, Chief Operating Officer, has been with ScionHealth since its inception and continues to oversee enterprise operations.
  • Jack Seal, General Counsel, joined the organization in 2025 and leads ScionHealth’s legal strategy and enterprise risk management.
  • Michelle Rigby, Chief People and Compliance Officer, has served as Chief Human Resources Officer and now expands her responsibilities to include enterprise compliance.

Together, these leaders comprise the executive team that will guide ScionHealth forward as the organization strengthens its operational capabilities and advances its mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across its national network.
