ScionHealth Announces Completion of Hospital Transaction with Lifepoint Health
Louisville, KY (June 2, 2026) – ScionHealth today announced that it has completed its previously announced transaction for Lifepoint Health to acquire eight of the company’s community hospitals. With this transition, ScionHealth’s operations will now be concentrated on specialty hospital services with a smaller community hospital footprint in select markets.
The hospitals included in the transaction are:
- Bolivar Medical Center – Cleveland, Mississippi
- Ennis Regional Medical Center – Ennis, Texas
- Livingston Regional Hospital – Livingston, Tennessee
- Logan Regional Medical Center – Logan, West Virginia
- Palestine Regional Medical Center – Palestine, Texas
- Parkview Regional Hospital – Mexia, Texas
- St. Joseph Regional Medical Center – Lewiston, Idaho
- Watertown Regional Medical Center – Watertown, Wisconsin
This transition is expected to be seamless for patients and communities, as all facilities will retain their current employees and providers and will maintain all existing services.
The transaction was part of a broader effort by ScionHealth to strengthen the company’s capital structure, focus on core strategies, and enhance the long-term support of the hospitals and communities it serves. With this transaction complete, ScionHealth is well-positioned to support the needs of the patients, caregivers, and communities it serves.
